Duo set to face Boro

Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws expects Marcus Tudgay and Richard Wood to shake off injuries in time for the home clash with Middlesbrough. Both players were withdrawn in the second half against Nottingham Forest, striker Tudgay due to a tweaked back muscle and defender Wood as a precaution because of a slight groin strain. Laws will be without Francis Jeffers, who sits out the last of a three-game ban, but fellow forwards Akpo Sodje and Leon Clarke will come into the reckoning. Sodje, who has recovered from a groin injury, replaced Tudgay on Saturday and Clarke was on the bench after finally overcoming a hamstring problem. Defender James O'Connor missed out against Forest due to a hamstring strain and remains doubtful while Laws must decide whether to recall Sean McAllister to his midfield or retain summer signing Tommy Miller in his starting line-up.
