Downing calls for resolution

Middlesbrough winger Stewart Downing has revealed he would be interested in a reported move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The England international is believed to be the subject of an £8million bid from the north London club after months of speculation linking him with a move away from his native Teesside.
Boro themselves claim the 23-year-old is not for sale, but Downing has confirmed his interest in a move to White Hart Lane.
Downing is a product of the north-east club's youth system and has gone on to make almost 200 appearances since breaking into the first team towards the end of the 2001/02 campaign.
"I am aware and flattered by the interest from Tottenham," he told Sky Sports News.
"But until Middlesbrough and Tottenham agree terms, I remain a Middlesbrough player and am fully committed to helping (manager) Gareth Southgate and the team any way I can.
"I hope this situation is resolved sooner rather than later as all the speculation is affecting me.
"I would like to drawn a line under the situation and focus fully on my football career."
