Digard boost for Boro

France Under-21 international Didier Digard could return to action for Middlesbrough before the end of the season.

The midfielder suffered a knee injury in February but has been told he may be able to return to full training within a fortnight.

Meanwhile, Adam Johnson has returned to light training after missing the weekend defeat at Bolton with an ankle problem.

He could be available for Saturday's crunch game against Hull City.

Chris Riggott is also back in training after recovering from the medial knee ligament tear he suffered two months ago in the loss at Manchester City but captain Emanuel Pogatetz will miss Saturday's game against the Tigers.

The Austria international picked up a knee problem during Saturday's 4-1 defeat at the Reebok Stadium.
