Crosby leaves Boro

Gareth Southgate has decided to part company with his assistant manager Malcolm Crosby following a three-year partnership.[LNB] The Middlesbrough boss has elected to shake-up his back-room staff following the club's relegation to the Championship.[LNB]The former Sunderland chief joined Boro as reserve team manager under Steve McClaren and became Southgate's number two when he took over first-team responsibilities in 2006.[LNB]Crosby highlighted that he would look to get back into the game football as soon as possible and insists that he leaves the club on good terms.[LNB]"Gareth Southgate has decided to make changes at the club and, unfortunately, I am part of those changes," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"I am very disappointed after working for the past three years as Gareth's assistant. [LNB]Best wishes"But I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at the club, from the backroom staff, players and coaches, for making my time at Middlesbrough an enjoyable one.[LNB]"I would like to wish them all the best for next season."[LNB]Boro chief executive Keith Lamb added: "We would like to thank Malcolm for all his work over the last three years and wish him every success for the future."[LNB]Also on his way out of the club due to the re-organisation is sports psychologist Michael Caulfied.[LNB]
