// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} It may still be early days in the 2009/10 campaign, but building momentum at this stage could be crucial.[LNB] With that in mind, the second round of Championship fixtures will see a number of sides desperate to get their season up and running.[LNB]Midweek exertions in the Carling Cup will have helped to iron out any deficiencies, although there were a few second tier fallers in the first round of that competition.[LNB]Cardiff ensured they booked a safe passage into round two after easing past Dagenham & Redbridge and they will be looking to build on their positive start.[LNB]The Bluebirds crushed Scunthorpe on the opening day and will not want to relinquish their standing at the top of the table when they travel to Blackpool.[LNB]Coventry also picked up three points in their first fixture last weekend and they will be looking for back-to-back successes at Barnsley.[LNB]Derby also have three points on the board and could double that tally if they are able to see off Scunthorpe at Glanford Park.[LNB]The Rams' Midlands rivals Leicester enjoyed a winning start to life back in the Championship and have Ipswich in their sights this time around.[LNB]Newcastle were held at West Brom in their opening fixture, but will hope home soil advantage will see them past Reading on Saturday.[LNB]Middlesbrough got the new season up and running last Friday, with a goalless draw against Sheffield United, and they will be looking for a confidence boost at Swansea.[LNB]West Brom face a tricky trip to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest, with the new-look Reds hoping to be among the play-off challengers this term.[LNB]Sheffield United came agonisingly close to sealing promotion last season, but they will not be given an easy ride by Watford at Bramall Lane.[LNB]Peterborough are keen to make a positive impression in the second tier this season and could do with maximum points from a home date with Sheffield Wednesday.[LNB]Expectations are once again high at Queens Park Rangers and they will be looking to kick-start their campaign at Plymouth.[LNB]The final two games on a busy afternoon of action see Crystal Palace head to Bristol City and Doncaster Rovers entertain Preston.[LNB]
