Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate has confirmed that Julio Arca faces at least two months on the sidelines but there is better news on Mido and Tuncay.
All three players suffered injuries in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Sunderland and scans have revealed that Arca has picked up a medial knee ligament problem.
Southgate told Boro's official website: "We've had some more positive news.
"Both Mido and Tuncay have gone for scans and there's no significant damage and both have a chance of playing on Sunday.
"However, the injury to Julio looks more serious. It's the medial ligaments in his knee and it looks like it will be at least two months."
South Korea international Lee Dong Gook is now the club's only fit first-team striker as Jeremie Aliadiere is sidelined for at least a month with a hamstring problem.
