Crystal Palace have confirmed they have accepted an offer from Middlesbrough for midfielder Ben Watson.
Watson, 23, is highly-rated by the Championship club but his future has been the subject of much speculation this month as his contract expires at the end of the season.
The former England Under-21 international has scored five goals in 19 appearances for the Eagles this term and has been linked with moves to Fulham and Portsmouth in the past.
However, Palace boss Neil Warnock has revealed that his club have accepted an offer from Boro and that the player is now set to travel to Teesside for talks over personal terms.
"The chairman has spoken to (Middlesbrough counterpart) Steve Gibson and they have agreed a £2million fee," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser.
"It is not a foregone conclusion yet. Ben still has to agree personal terms."
