Boro linked with Kitson loan

Middlesbrough manager Gordon Strachan is believed to have finalised a move to bring Stoke City striker Dave Kitson to the Riverside Stadium on loan. Strachan has not had the best of starts to his reign at the Championship outfit and will be hoping Kitson can revitalise a mis-firing forward line-up. Kitson has struggled at the Britannia Stadium club and has notched just two Premier League goals since his multi-million pound move from Reading in the summer of 2008. The Potters will be hoping he can get some first-team games under his belt while the pressure will be on for him to help inspire Boro, who languish in a disappointing tenth place in the league table.
