02 July 2010 13:30
Boro are set to play games against Irish and German opposition as they continue their preparation for the new season. Gordon Strachan's charges take on Athlone Town and Bray Wanderers in Ireland and Sachsen Leipzig in Germany as they look to make a good start to the season.

They take on Athlone on Monday July 19 at 7.45pm at the Athlone Town Stadium and take on Bray on Wednesday July 21 at the Carlisle Grounds, again kicking-off at 7.45pm. Tickets for the Bray game can be found at www.ticketmaster.ie and are priced at 15 Euros for adults, 10 Euros for students and 7 Euros children/OAPs. No tickets are yet available for the Athlone game, as Boro were initially playing Shamrock Rovers on that day, but the Irish team pulled out.

Boro then travel to Germany as they play on Sachsen Leipzig at the Alfred Kunze Sportpark on Wednesday July 28. Kick-off for that game is 7pm local time.
