Swiss midfielder Baykal Kulaksizoglu has been linked with a move to Middlesbrough after confirming he is departing Young Boys Berne. The 26-year-old is out-of-contract with Young Boys and he has confirmed that he has left the club. Kulaksizoglu was linked with a move to Italy last season, but reports in Switzerland now suggest Boro could be interested. The 26-year-old, who tried his luck at Cologne in 2006, is considering his options. "I have left Berne, although it is the town where I grew up," he told Blick. "Young Boys have submitted an offer, but I could not accept it, without a doubt." After failing to claim the Swiss title, Young Boys are set for a clear-out. Along with Kulaksizoglu, big names like Thomas Haeberli, Marco Wolfli and David Degen also look set to depart.
