Boro hold Webber talks
Middlesbrough have held talks with out-of-contract former Sheffield United striker Danny Webber.
The 27-year-old is also wanted by Crystal Palace, and Boro boss Gareth Southgate may have to move players on before he can try to land the Manchester-born player on a free transfer.
Southgate told the Evening Gazette: "We were made aware of Danny's availability as a free agent and we have held talks with him."
