Boro confirm midfielder exit
MIDDLESBROUGH have confirmed that midfielder Mohamed Shawky has completed a free transfer to Turkish side Kayserispor.[LNB] The Egypt international joined Boro from Egyptian side Al-Ahly for £650,000 in August 2007 but made only 22 appearances for the club.[LNB] The 28-year-old had not played for Boro this season. His last first team appearance was in the 3-1 defeat at Newcastle United last May.[LNB]
