Boro confirm Darlington fixture
Middlesbrough will follow Coca-Cola Championship rivals Newcastle to Darlington as they prepare for the new season.
The Teessiders will make the short trip along the A66 to play their League Two neighbours at the Northern Echo Darlington Arena on Wednesday July 29.
Newcastle have already announced they will face the Quakers on their home pitch on Saturday July 18.
The game is the third pre-season fixture confirmed to date by Boro, who will play Dumbarton at the Strathclyde Homes Stadium on Wednesday July 22 and Carlisle at Brunton Park three days later.
