MIDDLESBROUGH are back in training as Gordon Strachan begins his first full season in charge at the Riverside, writes MICHAEL LIGHTFOOT.[LNB] Strachan was joined by his new assistant manager Gary McAllister at Rockliffe Park as they put the squad through their paces.[LNB] Rhys Williams didn't train as he is still recovering from a pelvic problem, but long-term absentees Matthew Bates and Willo Flood came through unscathed. Summer signing Andy Halliday also trained after moving from Livingston.[LNB] Mido linked up with the squad for the first time since he went out on loans to both Zamalek in Egypt and West Ham last season.[LNB] The squad have spent the early past of the summer at a week-long training camp in La Manga, Spain and Strachan will hope that this will bond the team ahead of a long season in the Championship.[LNB] Midfielder Nicky Bailey is exapected to complete his £1.4m move from Charlton today.[LNB]
