Boro accept Mido bid

Middlesbrough have confirmed that they have accepted a bid from an unnamed club for Mido.[LNB] Boro boss Gareth Southgate revealed earlier this week that he expected unsettled Mido to leave the club before the start of the new season.[LNB]Now a mystery club have had an undisclosed bid accepted by Middlesbrough for the former Tottenham hit-man.[LNB]Reports in Egypt suggest Mido's former club Zamalek are the mystery suitors as they look to bring the 26-year-old back to his homeland.[LNB]Mido is now expected to hold talks and undergo a medical at the club as he edges ever closer to a move away from the Riverside.[LNB]Stewart Downing has already left Boro in the wake of their relegation to the Championship and more stars are expected to follow before the close of the transfer window.[LNB]
