Bids received for players - Strachan

Middlesbrough manager Gordon Strachan has confirmed the club have been busy this week on the transfer front - with players possibly coming and going. Strachan has already signed a number of players during the season, including Kris Boyd, Nicky Bailey and Kevin Thomson, and he is still looking to add to his squad. He told the club`s official website: "We've had enquiries and one or two bids for our players in the last week but I like to keep business close at hand. We also enquired for players without making any bids so it's still ongoing there." Goalkeeper Brad Jones has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool with a £2million bid reportedly turned down by Boro. Asked about the situation, Strachan added: "[Cristiano] Ronaldo left Manchester United so nobody will ever tell me nobody's for sale. We've had offers and enquiries for players this week but nothing has happened."
