Alves calm over lack of goals

Middlesbrough's record signing Afonso Alves remains confident that he will find the net regularly for the Teessiders this season, having made a slow start to the new campaign.
The 27-year-old Brazilian has scored only once so far this term, but the £12million signing remains upbeat and calm over his form.
He told the Evening Gazette: "I have scored one goal this season but all strikers want to score more.
"There is no point in worrying about it. If I start to worry too much then it will make it harder. If I stay relaxed then the goals will come.
"It's natural for strikers to go through spells where they are not scoring. If they stay relaxed then the goals come again and I'm sure that is what will happen here.
"I am just one of the players, I am just like everybody else. It's not just me that has to score goals.
"As long as we relax and work hard as a team, then we will score goals."
