Aliadiere back at Boro

Middlesbrough are helping former striker Jeremie Aliadiere in his bid to return from a serious knee injury. The Frenchman left the Riverside in the summer when his contract with the club expired and had been training with West Ham in the hope of earning a deal with the Upton Park outfit. That was extinguished when he suffered a posterior cruciate ligament injury while on trial with the Premier League club which ended his hopes of playing football this year. Despite no longer being contracted with the club, Boro manager Gordon Strachan has given Aliadiere permission to receive treatment from the club's medical team at their training HQ, Rockliffe Park.
