Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez scored in the third minute of stoppage time to give Mexico a 2-1 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina in an international friendly.

With seconds remaining on Thursday, "Chicharito" pounced for the winner after the Bosnian defenders failed to clear the ball.

The Mexicans opened the scoring before 51,240 spectators at Soldier Field in the seventh minute with a goal by Giovani Dos Santos but Edin Dzeko equalized for the European side in the 29th minute.

The Mexicans next face Brazil on Sunday at Arlington, Texas, before opening their 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign against Guyana in Mexico City on June 8 before. They visit El Salvador for another qualifier four days later.
