Wotton set to miss Saddlers clash
Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton is likely to be without Paul Wotton for the visit of Walsall.
Wotton was substituted five minutes into Saturday`s draw with Huddersfield due to a hamstring injury and missed the return to his old club Southampton on Tuesday.
The veteran midfielder is a major doubt for the crucial clash against the Saddlers with Ed Upson likely to start.
Skiverton, who has this week opened talks over a contract extension at Huish Park, could also be without defender Paul Huntington and goalkeeper Stephen Henderson, who are both struggling with injuries.
Huntington missed the game at St Mary's with a toe injury and was replaced by the versatile Adam Virgo while Henderson ended the 3-0 defeat unable to kick the ball.
On-loan striker Oli Johnson may keep his place up front as the Glovers look to return to winning ways.
Walsall will again be without Aaron Lescott for the trip.
The full-back came off in injury time during last Saturday`s 0-0 draw at Swindon nursing a medial knee ligament strain and duly missed Tuesday`s 2-0 home defeat to Leyton Orient.
Although the injury is short-term, Lescott will play no part against the Glovers as Walsall look to pick up three points which would see them leapfrog their Somerset rivals.
With Lescott the Saddlers' only absentee, manager Dean Smith has the same squad at his disposal as the one that went down to the O`s in midweek.
Fit-again striker Darren Byfield completed the full 90 minutes of a behind-closed-doors friendly on Wednesday as part of his recovery from a lengthy knee lay-off and he is edging closer to a first-team start.
All square for Glovers
Yeovil had to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw with Walsall, despite dominating for long spells against their relegation rivals.
Town paid the penalty for poor finishing in the 17th minute when, following a mix-up in attempting to clear a right-wing corner, Jon Macken was allowed to prod the ball over the line.
Yeovil continued to miss chances, with Andrew Williams the main offender.
But right on the stroke of half-time he did grab the equalising goal. He headed down a right-wing cross from Andy Welsh and the ball bounced in off the far post. Andy Butler helped it into the net as he attempted to clear but it went down as Williams` goal.
The second half saw more of Walsall as an attacking force but Yeovil still dominated without applying the finish.
It was Walsall who came closest to snatching the three points when substitute Emanuel Ledesma smashed a drive against the crossbar with five minutes remaining.
