Kalala banned for Glovers Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton is without the suspended Jean-Paul Kalala for the game against Brentford. Kalala serves the first game of his four-match ban after he was sent off for striking MK Dons winger Michael McIndoe in the 1-0 win over Karl Robinson's side on Monday. Skiverton has two new faces in his squad, with goalkeeper Stephen Henderson and midfielder Alex Russell both joining the Glovers this week. Henderson has joined on loan from Bristol City until the end of the season while the experienced Russell has signed from Blue Square Bet Premier side Bath. Right-back Craig Alcock is likely to miss out which means defender Paul Huntington will continue to wear the captain's armband in his absence. Fellow defender Luke Ayling suffered a broken nose against the Dons and is rated doubtful. Brentford`s Marcus Bean needs a late fitness check ahead of the trip. Bean had to be withdrawn at half-time during Monday's defeat at Bournemouth as he was suffering from concussion. He could be replaced in midfield by Marc Laird, who has joined on a month's loan from Millwall and is in line to make his debut. Wingers Sam Wood (broken arm) and Sam Saunders (hamstring) are still on the sidelines along with striker Carl Cort (Achilles). Goalkeeper Ben Hamer and forward Rowan Vine this week left Griffin Park after their loan spells ended while midfielder David Hunt has joined Crawley. Simon Moore is likely to be the back-up to goalkeeper Richard Lee after being recalled from his loan at Basingstoke.

Glovers see off Brentford Yeovil continued their fight to get out of the League One relegation zone with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Brentford. It took 30 minutes before Brentford had their first shot at goal with Marc Laird seeing his effort saved by Yeovil keeper Stephen Henderson. Two minutes later Yeovil went in front when Andy Welsh crossed from the right with a free-kick and Paul Huntington rose above the defence to head in. Brentford had their best spell in the first 10 minutes of the second half but Yeovil defended well and grabbed a second goal in the 59th minute. Dean Bowditch and Nathan Smith combined well down the left and Andy Williams dived to head in from Smith's cross.
