Yeovil Town remain a point clear at the top of League Two thanks to a hard earned draw which left Kidderminster Harriers on the brink of relegation. Arron Davies gave the Glovers a 61st minute lead with battling Harriers grabbing a share of the spoils with an 83rd minute equaliser from substitute Mark Rawle. Davis' deadlock-breaker set the scene for a thrilling climax to the match in which Kidderminster went perilously close to snatching a dramatic late winner. Within a couple of minutes of Rawle's equaliser, Simon Weaver hit the Yeovil post with a close-range header. The Glovers were then heavily indebted to keeper Stephen Collis for an excellent save to prevent Rawle from scoring again. The grandstand finish however failed to produce another crucial goal for Harriers who are now a daunting six points adrift in the relegation zone with only three games left. It took only four minutes however for tempers to boil over when Phil Jevons unsportingly played through a drop ball to Kevin Gall who fired just wide despite Kidderminster claims that he was offside. Order however was quickly restored although the level of play never reached any great heights. Yeovil regularly looked threatening when pushing forward but Kidderminster steadily began to make an impression during the opening 45 minutes. Both sides were quickly on the attack in the second half in a bid to break the tense deadlock which Davies eventually achieved when he fired home a goal fashioned by Gall and Terry Skiverton. Rawle, a 68th minute substitute for striker Chris Beardsley, then ruffled Yeovil's feathers with a fierce volley past helpless Collis. The Glover's held out thanks to Collis making fine saves during stoppage time to foil Wayne Hatswell and Simon Russell.
