Yeovil Town goalkeeper Asmir Begovic repeatedly denied Huddersfield Town to leave a question mark over the future of Boss Stan Ternent.

Begovic, 21, on loan from Portsmouth, proved unbeatable. The giant gloveman, raised in Bosnia, stood up to a Huddersfield barrage and came out on top.

Begovic pulled off a string of saves, including a superb stop from Andy Butler, to end his side's run of four successive away defeats.

This draw left Huddersfield boss Ternent with just three wins in 14 league games and he must now conjure a home victory over fellow strugglers Crewe at the Galpharm Stadium on Saturday to save his job.

Begovic proved the difference and set the tone when he tipped around Robbie Williams' 30-yarder early on.

Huddersfield's Liam Dickinson then fired into the sidenetting before Begovic turned over a deflected effort.

Begovic kept out Dickinson's downward header and then produced his stunning save when he reached out one-handed to push away Butler's powerful header which had left him wrong-footed.

Yeovil were nowhere to be seen as an attacking force and Gary Roberts should have put Huddersfield ahead with a length of the field breakaway.

However the winger opted to go it alone instead, ignoring two team-mates inside and Begovic blocked with his feet.

Dickinson tried his luck with a couple of free-kicks and the closest he came was in first-half stoppage time when he struck the outside of a post.

After the break Begovic continued to dominate the Huddersfield forwards with saves from Jonathan Worthington, Keigan Parker and Ian Craney.

Yeovil showed more punch up front when substitutes Paul Warne and Gavin Tomlin came on and sensed they could snatch a goal.

Huddersfield keeper Matt Glennon was not to be beaten and saved his boss for another game at least, but there were more boos for Ternent on the final whistle.
