No Lewis for Chairboys
Wycombe will be without the suspended Stuart Lewis when they host Stevenage at Adams Park.
Lewis was booked for the fifth time this season during the 3-1 home win over Exeter on Boxing Day and the midfielder will serve a one-match ban.
Martin Rowlands made the final appearance of his three-month loan spell as a second-half substitute against the Grecians. Manager Gary Waddock is keen to bring the QPR midfielder back to Buckinghamshire in the new year.
Veteran Gareth Ainsworth is an option to replace Lewis, while fellow midfielder Kadeem Harris, defender Grant Basey and striker Ben Strevens will also hope to come into Waddock's thinking for the final game of 2011.
Marcello Trotta seems a certainty to keep his place in the side after the on-loan Fulham striker scored a hat-trick against Exeter to take his tally to six goals in four league appearances for Wanderers.
Stevenage manager Graham Westley expects to be able to pick from an unchanged squad.
Boro have one or two players nursing aches and niggles, but Westley did not name those in question and insists his side will be ready for the game at Adams Park.
"The players put their bodies through a very good 90 minutes on Boxing Day, but, by the time they have done their work this week, I know we will be ready both physically and mentally," Westley told the club's official website.
Westley has the likes of defender Phil Edwards, midfielder Chuks Aneke and forwards Luke Freeman and Byron Harrison available should he feel the need to make changes from the side that won 6-1 at Colchester.
Striker Ben May remains unavailable as he serves the second game of a three-match suspension.
Wilson whacks Wanderers
Lawrie Wilson scored the only goal of the game to stretch promotion-chasing Stevenage's unbeaten run to 11 League One games with victory over struggling Wycombe at Adams Park.
Highly-rated 24-year-old midfielder Wilson slotted home in the 82nd minute when the impressive Luke Freeman, on-loan from Arsenal, picked him out on the left. Wilson had already seen one effort saved by Wanderers goalkeeper Nikki Bull.
At the other end, the recently-prolific Marcelo Trotta chipped over the crossbar when it looked easier to score.
Wycombe thought they should have been playing against 10 men when Stuart Beavon was hauled down by Jon Ashton on the edge of the box but the Boro defender only received a yellow card.
With the game failing to ignite, visiting boss Graham Westley made a double change. Freeman and fellow Arsenal youngster Chuks Aneke were introduced and it almost paid off instantly when Wilson was denied.
Wanderers should have taken the lead when Trotta saw his header saved by Chris Day before he scooped a second effort over the bar.
The hosts were punished for their profligacy with eight minutes to go when Wilson worked himself into space and finished off Freeman's good work.
