Big game for Nicholas
Nicholas Bignall could make his full debut for Wycombe when Sheffield Wednesday visit Adams Park.
Forward Bignall made his Blues debut as a substitute in the 2-1 home defeat to Charlton on Tuesday night, having only joined the club on a month-long deal from Reading a few hours earlier.
The 21-year-old`s power and pace gives boss Gary Waddock a different option and could see him forced his way into the starting XI.
Waddock will choose from an unchanged squad, with James Tunnicliffe, Marvin McCoy, Scott Donnelly, Gareth Ainsworth and Martin Rowlands also pushing for starts along with Bignall.
Fifteen-year-old Jordan Ibe made another appearance from the bench in midweek and the highly-rated forward is expected to remain in the squad.
Ben Harding and Matt McClure remain the only absentees. Harding is recovering from a minor groin operation and is expected to resume training shortly, while teenage striker McClure is making good progress in his recovery from a dislocated ankle but will not be back playing until early in the new year.
Sheffield Wednesday will be without suspended leading goalscorer Gary Madine.
Madine was sent off in the midweek defeat at Carlisle for two yellow card offences and sits out a one-game ban, so Ryan Lowe will be vying with Jermaine Johnson for a place alongside Chris O'Grady up front.
Lowe is pushing for his first start for the Owls after making only his fourth appearance off the substitutes' bench on Tuesday following his summer arrival from Bury, while Johnson is hoping to make his first start since his dismissal at Stevenage last month.
Manager Gary Megson will be boosted by the return from suspension of defender Reda Johnson and must decide whether or not to retain Julian Bennett in his back four.
Megson has no other new injury or suspension problems as the Owls look to bounce back from their first defeat in seven league matches after Tuesday's setback.
Lowe leaves Chairboys standing
Ryan Lowe marked his first start for Sheffield Wednesday with the winning goal in a 2-1 victory at Wycombe.
Teenager Jordan Ibe had given the hosts hope on his first start in the Football League when he cancelled out Jose Semedo`s opener, only for Lowe to head home soon afterwards.
Most of the action came in the first half and Semedo scored after 23 minutes when he reacted quickest to Lowe's effort that struck the post.
But the Chairboys were level on the half-hour mark as 15-year-old Ibe scored his first senior goal with a fine strike from the edge of the area. He was the booked for celebrating with his family in the stands.
However, six minutes later Semedo turned provider for Lowe and the former Bury man made no mistake in converting the inswinging cross.
A third straight loss for Wycombe was compounded with 17 minutes left as captain Gareth Ainsworth picked up his second yellow card and was sent off.
