McNamee set for Chairboys bow Anthony McNamee could make his Wycombe debut in the bottom-of-the-table clash at home to Chesterfield. McNamee joined Wanderers on loan from MK Dons last month, but was now allowed to play against his parent club when the Buckinghamshire rivals met at stadium:mk on November 26. Gary Waddock`s side were without a game last weekend after their FA Cup first-round exit at the hands of non-league Fleetwood, so this is the first opportunity that McNamee has had to make his bow for his new team. Captain Gareth Ainsworth could return to the squad after missing the whole of November after breaking his hand during the home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday at the end of October. Manager Waddock said: "Anthony has impressed in training. I knew he was a good player but, after seeing him up close on the training ground, he has really shone. "Gaz is back, which is excellent. His fitness has been fine. He has trained so there is no reason why he won`t be in contention." Chesterfield manager John Sheridan will probably pick from an unchanged squad. The Spireites suffered no new problems in defeating npower League One rivals Preston on penalties in midweek to reach the Northern area final of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy. Sheridan made changes against North End, with Tommy Lee returning in goal for the first time since suffering a groin injury in mid-September. Forward Dean Morgan, scorer of five goals in the last three reserve-team games, was also back in the starting line up and midfielder Danny Whitaker was recalled in a strong-looking XI at Deepdale. Fit-again striker Jack Lester was on the bench again having recently made his comeback from three months out with a broken arm. Midfielder Mark Randall (broken hand) will remain out, but top scorer Leon Clarke is hoping to get a recall.
