Johnson back in team reckoning Leon Johnson comes back into the reckoning for Wycombe ahead of the visit of Carlisle. Johnson has served a two-match suspension for collecting 10 yellow cards this season. However, fellow defender Dave Winfield will remain on the sidelines on Friday. The centre-back has sat out Wanderers' last two games with the thigh injury that forced him off during the win at Exeter on March 20. It is a problem that has been hampering Winfield for a while and means he is also a doubt for the trip to Chesterfield on Monday. "Dave won't be available for Friday. He has had the injury for a little while and we have been able to manage him through the week and when he has played," said manager Gary Waddock. "But we know how important these games are and we need Dave fully fit and it is not a time to take any risks." Winger Joel Grant is in light training following an ankle injury but the Easter fixtures may come too soon for him. Carlisle defender Chris Chantler is hoping to shake off ankle and hamstring problems in time for Friday's game. Chantler, who has made the left-back position his own in recent weeks as Matty Robson remains sidelined with a back injury, faces a race against the clock as the Cumbrians look to maintain their play-off challenge. If Chantler wins his fitness race manager Greg Abbott is likely to name an unchanged side for the seventh consecutive game. That would mean striker Francois Zoko keeping Jordan Cook, on loan from Sunderland, on the substitutes' bench and centre-half Danny Livesey preferred to Lubo Michalik alongside Peter Murphy. Midfielder Paul Thirlwell is expected to remain sidelined after missing the last eight games due to a calf injury. The Cumbrians, four points clear of seventh-placed Notts County with a game in hand, are unbeaten in their last seven matches.
