Match Preview
Two sides with ambitions of clinching a European a place meet at Fratton Park, as Portsmouth play host to West Ham United.
Pompey are currently fifth in the Premier League table, on the back of a run of four straight victories in the league.
The most recent of those was a 2-0 success at Wigan Athletic, during which in-form striker Benjani took his goal tally to five in his last three games and seven for the season in total.
That has left boss Harry Redknapp a very happy man, as he said: "You have to enjoy the good days in this game because you know what will happen. The years roll by and you have to appreciate it.
"It's been a good start again like last year. We were always in the top half last year."
Redknapp is blessed with an injury list which only includes Nigerian frontman Kanu (knee), who is still some way off a return to action, but Sean Davis is suspended, meaning Pedro Mendes is likely to be handed a rare start.
The Portuguese star admitted: "I don't want to rush back before I'm really ready, even though I'm finding it frustrating not to be involved."
Redknapp's former club, West Ham, travel to the South Coast buoyed by a 3-1 win at home to Sunderland last time out.
Alan Curbishley's side have been somewhat inconsistent this season, with the victory over the Black Cats coming after three straight league losses.
That can be partially explained by a number of injuries that have hampered Curbishley, with Scott Parker's return from a knee problem being further delayed by a midweek setback.
Dean Ashton, Bobby Zamora, Kieron Dyer and Julien Faubert are all currently sidelined as well, but Curbishley still has plenty of options at his disposal following a busy summer in the transfer market.

Match Report
Robert Green was West Ham's hero as Alan Curbishley's side stopped Portsmouth moving up to fourth in the table.
Green pulled off a dramatic stoppage-time penalty save from Benjani to deny high-flying Pompey a club record fifth successive Premier League win.
The former Norwich stopper had already produced a series of fine saves to stake his claim for a starting place in England's crucial Euro 2008 decider against Croatia next month.
At the other end Nolberto Solano served up two contenders for miss of the season as the Peruvian endured a nightmare full West Ham debut.
Niko Kranjcar gave the visiting fans an early fright when he drilled a 20-yard left-foot shot just wide of Green's left post with only 31 seconds on the clock.
Green gave Steve McClaren a timely reminder of his ability with a stunning one-handed save to tip Kranjcar's 25-yard blockbuster over the crossbar.
Green came to the Hammers' rescue two minutes later when he spared Danny Gabbidon from an embarrassing own goal.
Herman Hreidarsson came bombing down the left before sending in a teasing low cross which was deflected goalwards off Gabbidon's right heel before Green saved with the legs.
Solano should have grabbed himself a goal against the run of play midway through the first half when he raced onto Carlton Cole's centre.
The Peruvian mis-timed his jump at the back post and failed to make decent contact with an attempted diving header with Pompey's goal gaping.
Worse was to follow as Solano left Curbishley with his head in his hands early in the second half.
Cole smashed a close-range shot against the underside of the crossbar and Solano nodded the rebound wide from two yards after being left with an empty net.
Pompey thought they had won the match in the 93rd minute when Gabbidon needlessly handled inside the penalty area but Green flew to his left to keep out Benjani's spot-kick.
