The spoils are shared at Upton Park in a strange game, West Ham took a two goal lead and could have had more but in two minuites at the end of the first half Newcastle drew level. The second half was a bit of a let down with few chances created.

David Edgar replaced by Lamine Diatta (Newcastle) Edgar covered in blood after getting injured but he looks ok. Nolberto Solano replaces James Tomkins for West Ham.

Martins shot is saved by Rob Green could be the last chance of what has been a poor second half, only two minuites added on at the end of the game.

Its been a bit of a non event this second half, It looked like it could have been a classic after the two late goals from Newcastle but the game has petered out. Could still be a goal though.

Newcastle lucky to get away with not conceeding a penlty, Michael Owen goes for the clearance but miss controls it and the ball hits him on the arm. Its a fair shout and Rennie is well placed but he decides not to give it.

West Ham break and Dean Ashton hits a wicked shot which Steve Harper manages to tip over the bar for a corner. The resulting corner is cleared.

Noble should have scored for the Hammers. Hes forced to shoot on his right foot and hes a very left sided player, the ball flies well wide.

Its all getting a bit scrappy here. Neither side really showing any quality going forward.

Dean Ashton should have scored for West Ham but he miss hits his shot after McCartneys free kick.

Fairly open second half with neither team having a real scoring chance yet. Could be another goal here but it will probably be due to poor defending rather than quality attacking.

Martins booked for a late challenge. He is a striker after all, it wasn't malicious just clumsy!

Good shot from Dean Ashton but its through a lot of bodies and Steve Harper saves quite comfortably.

Bobby Zamora just can't turn in Boa Mortes cross for the Hammers but he was offside anyway. The first time the Hammers have shown signs they're interested in the second half really after Ashton worked hard before the chance.

West Ham get the second half underway in East London for what should be an exciting second half. West Ham were walking it but Newcastle hit back with two improbable late first half goals to draw level.

Newcastle somehow level at half time. West Ham were far the better team through the half but Newcastle popped up with two late goals to even things up going into the break.

The Toon have equalised! It looked like West Ham were cruising but Habib Beyes cross was met by Geremi who guided it past Rob Green with his head after taking a deflection along the way.

Somehow Newcastle have scored! Martins gets a goal out of nothing for Newcastle and fires it past Rob Green.

Another corner for West Ham, taken again by Faubert and somehow Dean Ashton gets a free header after slipping away from Taylor.

Habib Beye booked for Newcastle for unsporting behaviour.

The form books been thrown out the window in this game. West Ham who couldn't buy a win in the last few games are giving Necastle a real pasting in East London. Keegans going to have to think about changes at half time.

Bobby Zamora has a shot blocked inside the Newcastle box. He had so much time it was unbelieveable and the West Ham man should have had a go earlier.

Finally Newcastle get forward, Geremi's cross reaches Michael Owen Who's header is blocked by James Tomkins (West Ham)

Its almost like an exhibition match for the Hammers. Bobby Zamora tries an audacious chip towards Dean Ashton but hes never going to reach it.

West Ham had a three on two situation going foward but David Edgar (Newcastle) brilliantly tackles him after the West Ham man hesitated.

Free kick for Newcastle launced into the West Ham penalty area. Michael Owen goes down and the ball runs through to Rob Green but there are no appeals for a penalty from Newcastle.

Offside flag raised against Bobby Zamora as Newcastle will welcome the breather here against the Hammers. This is one of the most one sided affairs I've ever seen with the Toon still yet to mount a decent attack.

Another corner, this time an inswinger from the left for the Hammers to be taken by Faubert. Its awful, Nicky Butt clears as the first man at the near post.

Faubter takes an outswinging corner for West Ham. Its cleared fairly easily by the Newcastle defence.

Its too easy for West Ham here, they're passing the ball around under almost no pressure and Newcastle are still waiting for their first real attack.

Another cross in from McCartney for the Hammers, Harper spills it but fortunately for the Newcastle stopper there are no Hammers players around to capitalise. McCartney the focal point of all West Hams attacks and Newcastle need to quiet him down.

The games been played almost totally in the Newcastle half in the opening stages, 'King Kev' might have to shake things up a it here if the Magpies are going toget anything out of this game.

The Hammers early pressure pays off, Mark Noble hits a sweet half volley past Steve Harper in the Newcastle goal from George McCartneys cross. Noble stole into position while the Magpies were caught napping.

Decent ball in by Habib Beye (Newcstle), Mark Viduka miss controls it though and the Hammers clear for a throw in. Its a rare mistake by the Aussie who usually has a superb touch.

Dean Ashton shoots for West Ham after some good interplay by the Hammers. Its an easy save in the end for Steve Harper though.

West Ham win a throw in after Dean Ashton (West Ham) disposses Michael Owen, they've gone forward and should have won a corner but referee Uriah Rennie see's it as a goal kick. Paulo Dicanio is in the crowd today, will that lift the Hammers?

Newcastle get us underway here at Upton Park. West Ham haven't beaten the Toon in 8 attempts, will today be there day? On current form I doubt it personally.
