Match Preview
Hull City's dream start to life in the Premier League is quickly turning sour as, after a run of six consecutive defeats, the Tigers welcome bottom club West Brom to the KC Stadium for a potential six-pointer.
Phil Brown's side succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to West Ham on Wednesday, leaving them in 10th position but just six points above Saturday's opposition.
The Tigers boss has already earmarked Saturday's clash as one of the most important fixtures of the season.
Brown said of the games against West Ham and West Brom: "There are a lot of massive games between now and the end of the season and there are certain ones that you earmark as having the potential to get something from."
George Boateng is the only injury absentee for the Tigers as the former Middlesbrough midfielder is set to be missing until April with a medial ligament injury.
Jimmy Bullard is likely to make his full debut after recovering from illness. The £5million signing could only manage a substitute appearance at Upton Park on Wednesday.
Tony Mowbray hopes to be able to welcome James Morrison to his starting line-up for the trip to the KC Stadium.
Morrison did not have a reaction to his hamstring injury in his comeback game against Manchester United, having come on as a 64th minute substitute.
Abdoulaye Meite is also close to fitness and may be on the bench for the game.
The Premier League's bottom side are fresh from a walloping 5-0 defeat at the hands of the champions, but Mowbray believes his side will bounce back. "I don't think the scoreline will dent confidence in this instance," he said.
Captain Jonathan Greening, Ishmael Miller and Neil Clement are long-term absentees, while Ryan Donk, Luke Moore and Jonas Olsson could all be out.
