Saddlers at full strengthWalsall boss Chris Hutchings has a fully-fit squad to select from for the club`s opening game of the season at home to MK Dons.Hutchings insists star striker Troy Deeney is available despite his submission of a written transfer request in light of strong interest from Watford. The Birmingham-born 22-year-old has shown a keen attitude in training and is expected to lead the line at the Banks`s Stadium.Elsewhere, it has been a summer of change for the Saddlers with no less than 13 players departing, including Clayton Ince, Rhys Weston, Dwayne Mattis and Mark Hughes. But Hutchings has bolstered his ranks with a host of new faces in Ryan McGivern, Jonny Brain, Paul Marshall, Dave Bevan, Oliver Lancashire and Aaron Lescott. All will be hoping to have impressed enough during pre-season to have staked a claim for a starting berth against a Dons side expected to be there or thereabouts in the promotion race come May.MK Dons manager Karl Robinson will be without Peter Leven and Mat Doumbe for his first game in full charge.Leven and Doumbe must serve suspensions, a legacy from the club`s woeful disciplinary record last season which saw them collect over 120 bookings.Defender Gary MacKenzie will have to wait for his debut as he suffers the effects of picking up a knock in training but four other players are vying for their first appearance.Robinson, 29, could hand debuts to goalkeeper David Martin, veteran midfielder Dietmar Hamann and forwards Lewis Guy and Angelo Balanta.Defender Sean O`Hanlon was withdrawn from a friendly last week as a precaution after feeling a twinge in his back but should be fit.
Robinson enjoys winning start
Football League's youngest ever boss Karl Robinson saw his managerial career at MK Dons get off to a flier as goals from Sam Baldock and Danny Woodards ensured a 2-0 win over Walsall.
The Dons were dominant from the outset but had to wait until four minutes before half-time for the goal their pressure merited - and they had a helping hand from Saddlers keeper Jon Brain.
The debutant, signed from Macclesfield in the summer, seemed to have smothered a Jermaine Easter through ball but allowed it to slip from his grasp and Luke Chadwick squared for Baldock to flick home into an empty net.
Walsall had failed to register an effort on target in the first half but drew level three minutes after the break.
Julian Gray's left-wing corner was met by a stunning leap from Saddlers centre-half Manny Smith 12 yards out and he powered a header back across goal into the far corner.
But the Dons claimed the points after 59 minutes with an equally good header, Woodards stooping to bullet home a header into the bottom corner from an Angelo Balanta flag kick.
