Problems mount for Saddlers
Chris Hutchings has a host of selection concerns ahead of Walsall`s FA Cup first-round replay at home to Fleetwood.
Striker Jon Macken (calf) and centre-back Clayton McDonald (hamstring) missed Saturday`s 3-0 defeat at Bournemouth but the club`s medical team are hopeful they could play a part on Tuesday.
The news is less promising for wide man Martin Devaney (hamstring) who also sat out at Dean Court and is again unlikely to feature, although he has not yet completely been ruled out.
Defender Andy Butler, who only signed on Friday, is ineligible to feature having missed the initial 1-1 draw nine days ago.
Ryan McGivern, who would have missed out anyway following his red card in the first meeting, and Will Grigg are on international duty with Northern Ireland's senior squad and Under-21s respectively.
Striker Darren Byfield (knee) continues to miss out but on-loan duo Reuben Reid and Liam Dickinson are okay to feature having been granted clearance by their parent clubs.
Shaun Beeley comes back into the reckoning.
The right-back collected his fifth yellow card of the season during last week's goalless stalemate with Gateshead and missed the 1-1 home draw against Rushden & Diamonds on Saturday through suspension.
Boss Micky Mellon could also have Gareth Seddon available again. The forward was forced off with an injury against Gateshead that kept him out of the squad at the weekend.
Ian Craney, Nathan Pond and Adam Warlow, who all started the first game at the Highbury Stadium nine days ago, will hope to be recalled to the starting line-up.
Should Mellon's men they will set up a second round tie at Torquay on November 27.
Reid sends Saddlers through
Two smartly taken goals by on-loan striker Reuben Reid saw Walsall safely through to the second round of the FA Cup and a trip to Torquay after a 2-0 win over Fleetwood.
But the League One side, bottom of the table, were a shade lucky to survive a first half in which Blue Square Premier side Fleetwood created numerous chances and were denied by Saddlers' veteran keeper James Walker who picked up the man of the match award.
Reid, on loan from West Bromwich Albion, struck first in the 58th minute, volleying in a perfect cross from Alex Nicholls from close range and in the third minute of stoppage time he rubbed it in with a second, nipping through the Fleetwood defence on to Aaron Lescott's pass to notch his sixth goal of the season.
But it was a much different story in the first half when Fleetwood played some fine football and in the 27th minute Walker had to fly to his left to tip away a shot from Anthony Barry, then almost immediately Town central defender Paul Linwood headed wide from a great position.
Walker also saved a close range header from Lee Thorpe and John Miles, almost clear, saw his shot blocked by Manny Smith and just before the break Walker again saved at the feet of Sean Clancy.
But brave Fleetwood paid the price in the second half when Reid showed them how to finish.
"Will David Moyes be able to turn it around at Ma..."
