Saddlers skipper Butler banned for Bury Walsall captain Andy Butler is suspended for the visit of Bury. The influential centre-back received his fifth booking of the season in last Saturday`s 1-1 FA Cup draw at Exeter and will now serve an automatic one-match suspension, meaning Oli Lancashire is likely to step in to partner Manny Smith at the heart of the defence. Defender Darryl Westlake (ankle) remains around a fortnight away from his return while midfielder Kevan Hurst is on the sidelines for another month as he continues his recovery from a broken bone in his heel. Goalkeeper David Grof kept his place against the Grecians last weekend despite the return of Jimmy Walker from suspension and he will be aiming to start once again. Struggling Walsall have managed only one win in their last 14 matches in all competitions but come up against a Bury side just five places above them in the League One table. Bury only have Mark Hughes unavailable as they look to put their FA Cup exit behind them at Walsall. The defender got sent off late on in his side`s 2-0 loss to Crawley and will serve a three-match suspension. Ben Futcher, who was cup-tied for the match, is most likely to replace Hughes in the Bury backline, but veteran Efe Sodje is also an option. Winger David Worrall played 20 minutes on his return from an ankle injury and tonsillitis and is pushing for a starting place. On-loan striker David Amoo could also feature, having made a substitute appearance of his own against Crawley after returning from the treatment table. Striker Lenell John-Lewis returns from his one-match suspension as Bury look for their third away win on the bounce.

Shakers unseat Saddlers Former Walsall midfielder Peter Sweeney led Bury to a comfortable 4-2 win over his old club at the Banks's Stadium. Sweeney, who once had a short loan spell with the Saddlers, scored one and had a hand in two more as the slick Shakers deservedly won. Bury took the lead in the sixth minute when Sweeney unleashed a stunning left-foot drive from 30 yards which flew in off the crossbar, giving home goalkeeper David Grof no chance. But Walsall levelled after 28 minutes. Shane Byrne tripped Jamie Paterson in the box - he was booked for the offence - and Jon Macken coolly stroked in the penalty for his third goal of the season. Inside the first minute of the second half, however, Michael Jones floated a beauty in to the top corner, cutting in from the left to restore Bury's lead and they never looked back. Skipper Steven Schumacher added a third after 63 minutes and substitute Lenell John-Lewis hammered a fourth for the Shakers three minutes from the end before teenage substitute George Bowerman grabbed his first senior goal for relegation threatened Walsall in stoppage time. At the final whistle, players had to separate Walsall defender Manny Smith and Bury sub David Worrall after the pair squared up to each other.
