Match Preview
Cherries boss could pick Baudry Walsall welcome back Jason Price as they look to extend their unbeaten run to five games against high-flying Bournemouth. The on-loan forward was ineligible for last Saturday`s 3-1 triumph over parent club Carlisle under the terms of his switch from Brunton Park. But Price is available again and manager Dean Smith faces a decision over whether to hand him a recall. That just leaves striker Darren Byfield on the sidelines, although, having revealed he thought he was facing retirement, the Saddlers captain has now stepped up his training having undergone career-saving sugar injections which have strengthened his knee. He is now hoping to return to Walsall`s matchday 18 over the next couple of weeks as he builds up his fitness levels. Bournemouth boss Lee Bradbury could hand new signing Mathieu Baudry his debut. Defender Baudry, 22, goes into the squad to face the Saddlers following his arrival from French club Troyes, joining fellow new signing Ben Williamson, who will be hoping for a more prominent role following his debut in injury time of the 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient last weekend. Full-back Rhoys Wiggins, who has missed the last three games with a thigh injury, should return to the starting line-up in place of Warren Cummings. However, goalkeeper Dan Thomas, defender Ryan Garry, midfielder Mark Molesley and strikers Jayden Stockley and Steve Lovell are unavailable. Thomas has joined Dorchester Town on loan, where he will link up with team-mate Stockley who has extended his loan with the non-league side. Garry has begun rehabilitation from a nerve problem in his shin, while Molesley and Lovell, despite stepping up their comebacks from injury, will not be available for selection.

Match Report
Symes settles it for Cherries Michael Symes' second-half goal was enough to end Walsall's four-match unbeaten run and boost Bournemouth's automatic promotion hopes. The winner for the Cherries came from a well-rehearsed set-piece in the 52nd minute, Liam Feeney dummying over Marc Pugh's low corner for Symes to notch his sixth goal of the season with a low drive from the edge of the penalty area. That goal extended Bournemouth's unbeaten run to six games after a match in which both sides put the emphasis on the attack and in the 24th minute Bournemouth central defender Jason Pearce moved up to meet a cross from Pugh and send a header against the crossbar. Walsall responded two minutes later with a header from Andy Butler brilliantly saved by Bournemouth goalkeeper Shwan Jalal and in the 27th minute Saddlers' striker Jason Price saw his header come back off the crossbar. Walsall tried to repair the damage in the second half, but were vulnerable to Bournemouth's strikes on the break after Symes had put the visitors in front and it took one fine save from Walsall goalkeeper James Walker to prevent Danny Ings extending Bournemouth's lead in the 55th minute.
