FULL TIME: SPURS 3-0 MAN CITY. What a big result for Spurs as they sweep aside a lacklustre Man City to get back to winning ways in superb fashion.
90mins
Carlos Tevez with another questionable tackle and he gets a booking.
90mins
SPURS 3-0 MAN CITY. With the City defence sleeping, Lennon and Kranjcar work a short corner and KRANJCAR has the presence of mind to nutmeg Given and complete a good night's work for Spurs.
90mins
Spurs are now making a change as Jermaine Jenas replaces Jermain Defoe.
90mins
There will be four minutes of added time.
89mins
Ireland has perhaps looked the most likely to cause major problems to the Spurs backline and he does well again here but the shot is quite tame in the end.
88mins
Horrible miss! Petrov delivers a delicious ball into the box where Adebayor has escaped his marker but from the edge of the six yard box he lifts high over the bar.
87mins
Martin Petrov tests Gomes with a free-kick that he bends round the wll but it was straight at the keeper who parries easily.
85mins
Peter Crouch, what are you doing? With three in support and just Toure to beat he decides to try to be Ronaldo and gets it horribly wrong and his team-mates are not at all happy.
83mins
Well done Sylvinho! WIth Lennon threatening to get to the byline again the Brazilian slides in perfectly to block the cross and win the goal kick.
80mins
As we enter the final ten minutes its important to remember that City have lost just once in the league this season - to Manchester United away - and they want to keep that record.
79mins
CIty are perhaps enjoying their best spell of the match but they can't find the right pass and Spurs break with Lennon but Crouch fouls Richards going for the cross.
75mins
Wonderful from Stephen Ireland as he dinks the ball between two defenders but Bassong manages to get himself to the ball to concede a corner before Ireland could fire at goal.
73mins
Carlos Tevez is a lucky boy as he aims a stamping mid-air kick in the direction of Bassong but referee Wiley has not seen it.
71mins
City are making their second change now as Nigel De Jong is replaced by Martin Petrov.
71mins
Niko Kranjcar is the latest into the book as Alan Wiley gets a little over busy.
69mins
Nigel De Jong has managed to talk his way into the book - and a suspension.
68mins
Clever work from Tevez and Ireland but the shot that follows from Adebayor just about sums up the striker's night as he flashes well over.
66mins
WIlson Palacios has been treading that tight rope for god knows how long and he finally is booked for a foul on Toure.
65mins
And counter attack Spurs do here with Kranjcar who feeds Lennon but he is snuffed out by Barry and De Jong before Crouch is given offside.
64mins
City are starting to make more of an impact now as Spurs begin to sit a bit deeper and try to play on the counter.
61mins
Sylvinho finally collects his yellow card for, you guesses it, a block on Aaron Lennon as the winger looked to turn him.
61mins
Good start from Santa Cruz as he does more with his first few touches than Robinho managed in an hour.
59mins
Here comes Santa Cruz now in place of Robinho who has been poor tonight and goes straight down the tunnel.
58mins
Mark Hughes looks busy on the bench and Roque Santa Cruz appears to be readying himself.
56mins
In all fairness that goal is just about what both sides deserve. City have been poor since the break while Spurs have pushed for the second and been rewarded.
54mins
SPURS 2-0 MAN CITY. What was I saying about Defoe? Crouch flicks the long hoof upfield on in the box and Defoe is alive to steal in and flash past a helples Given. Quality finish!
52mins
Still Spurs look most likely to create a chance with Defoe continuing to be frustrated while Lennon continues to run Sylvinho ragged.
49mins
Emmanuel Adebayor has been very wasteful with possession tonight as he simply has not been able to keep hold of it and bring others into the game.
46mins
Spurs straight back on the attack as Defoe and Crouch link up to set up Kranjcar but his shot is sliced horribly.
46mins
The second half is underway - what do City have in their locker?
45mins
HALF TIME: SPURS 1-0 MAN CITY. Spurs hold a deserved lead at the break as City struggled to keep up with the relentless pace, particularly at the back where they are being over exposed.
45mins
There will be one minute of added time as Huddlestone slices wildly over.
43mins
And again Lennon skins Sylvinho on the right hand side - this is turning into a torrid evening for the Brazilian.
41mins
Another half chance for Spurs as Bassong and Corluka go for the same header and neither makes enough contact.
41mins
The tails are up for the home side and City really need half time.
40mins
Could it be two? No but City have Shay Given to thank as he races from his line to stop Crouch before he could get his shot off.
39mins
Spurs probably deserve the lead having taken control of the game in an attacking sense and it comes as no surprise that Lennon is the creator.
37mins
SPURS 1-0 MAN CITY. Niko Kranjcar gets the credit but Aaron Lennon should get the praise as he blitzes past Sylvinho to cross for Crouch whose header is bundled in by KRANJCAR.
36mins
The Spurs penalty box has been pretty inactive since the opening exchanges as City struggle to make their possession pay.
33mins
Great move from Spurs as Palacios feeds Lennon into the channel and his cross it a little behind Defoe who can't turn far enough to get his shot on target.
31mins
Spurs seem to be operating a bit of a shoot on sight policy tonight as Huddlestone tries again from range but the ball was never sitting right and its well wide.
28mins
Sylvinho is surely getting close to a booking as he handles as Lennon tries to flick round him and go.
27mins
A bit of a lull in proceedings as a procession of free-kicks are awarded for minor offences.
24mins
Lennon is too quick for Sylvinho again and produces a clever cutback for Huddlestone but he loops his effort over the bar. Poor!
23mins
FIrst save of the game as Robinho tries his luck from long range and stings the palms of Gomes.
22mins
Superb defending from Dawson but City were almost in as Robinho looked to steer Adebayor in behind but Dawson stretched out a long leg to intercept in the nick of time.
21mins
The hosts are beginning to grab the game by the scruff of the neck a little and City's passing has become a little disjointed.
18mins
Aaron Lennon versus Sylvinho is a mismatch when the winger gets to turn and run at the full back and he almost creates a chance for Crouch.
17mins
Defoe has been caught offside about six times so far but City are playing an unhealthily high line and he will get it right eventually.
16mins
Carlos Tevez is seeing plenty of the ball 'in the hole' behind Adebayor and Spurs need to start closing him down a little as he looks dangerous.
13mins
Jermain Defoe struggled to get into the game against Wolves on Saturday and Spurs' leading scorer looks a little off-colour so far tonight too.
9mins
Niko Kranjcar goes close to opening the scoring as Spurs sweep forward with Lennon but the Croatian sees his narrowly past the post.
8mins
The game has started at a great pace with both sides looking set to attack at will so we could be in for a cracker tonight.
5mins
Great chance for Spurs as Crouch arrives at the far post to met Kranjcar's corner and the England man is livid to not win another corner as the ball is clearly diverted over by Richards.
3mins
Good work from Tevez on the edge of the box to evade Dawson but the Argentine drags his shot a fraction wide.
3mins
Oh and for anyone wondering what reception ex-Arsenal players Adebayor, Toure and Sylvinho would get.....a lot of booing is the answer.

Spurs were embarrassed by Wolves here on Saturday so a win is top of Harry Redknapp's list of priorities but Mark Hughes could do with a few more wins of his own.

Match Preview
An interesting looking clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City takes place on Wednesday evening with the two sides continuing their top-four challenge.
The two teams are poised at the top end of the table although they both dropped vital points at the weekend.
Spurs disappointingly lost 1-0 at home to lowly Wolverhampton Wanderers and, despite a desperate attempt to get back into the game, their challenge fell flat.
Meanwhile, Manchester City drew 3-3 at Bolton Wanderers after being behind on three occasions.
Their effort wasn't helped when Craig Bellamy was harshly dismissed by referee Mark Clattenburg, but boss Mark Hughes will have been delighted to witness his team's battling capabilities and in particular the two-goal salvo by Argentina striker Carlos Tevez.
Since their 4-3 epic defeat to city rivals Manchester United, the Citizens remain unbeaten in their last 11 league fixtures and they sit in sixth place in the table with Spurs one place ahead in fifth.
Defender Wayne Bridge remains out after injuring a knee in the impressive 2-1 victory against Chelsea on December 5.
Spurs have endured a miserable run since their emphatic 9-1 triumph against Wigan Athletic in November.
They have picked just two points up from a possible nine and have also been dumped out of the Carling Cup.
Centre-half pairing Jonathan Woodgate and Ledley King remain out of the reckoning with groin and knee injuries respectively.
Wilson Palacios (rib) could struggle to make a return while stricken goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is likely to be out for the rest of the season after suffering serious injuries in a motorcycle accident.

Match Report
Niko Kranjcar and Jermain Defoe fired the goals to help Tottenham get back on the winning trail and inflict yet more misery on under-fire Manchester City boss Mark Hughes.
After suffering a shock 1-0 defeat against Wolves last Saturday, all eyes were on Harry Redknapp's side to see if they had the quality to break into the top four this season.
City may have been missing Joleon Lescott through injury but Tottenham looked a class above their top-half rivals and managed to close the gap on fourth placed Aston Villa to just two points.
After spending around £200m on new players, Hughes will clearly be feeling the pressure once again after seeing his side win just one of their last ten league games.
Tottenham almost broke the deadlock after just eight minutes. A superb back-heel from Peter Crouch picked out Aaron Lennon who broke away down the right.
The England winger cut the ball back for Niko Kranjcar who fired the ball just past the post.
The home side continued to mount pressure on the City goal and got their just rewards when they opened the scoring on 37 minutes.
The ever-impressive Lennon always had the upper hand over City left back Sylvinho and made him look second best once again when he raced past the former Arsenal defender.
The England winger raced away down the right and his clever pass picked out Crouch whose header came back off Stephen Ireland's chest.
The ball fell perfectly for Kranjcar who made no mistake striking the ball into the back of the net.
Tottenham should have doubled their lead just sixty seconds later when Defoe's ball fell to Crouch unmarked inside the box but he failed to direct his shot past Shay Given.
It may have been route one but Spurs fans will not care after seeing Defoe add the crucial second on 53 minutes.
Heurelho Gomes' long free-kick picked out Crouch inside the penalty area. The England forward used his aerial dominance to beat Nedum Onuoha and head the ball into the path of his strike partner Defoe.
Defoe showed all his predatory instincts when fired the ball past Given into the corner of the net for his 14th goal of the season.
Gomes produced a fine save on 86 minutes to deny Martin Petrov's powerful free-kick, but Kranjcar wrapped up the victory for Tottenham in injury time when he took the ball around Emmanuel Adebayor and fired a shot through the legs of Given.
