Ellis to miss Millers clash Torquay boss Paul Buckle will be without Mark Ellis when his side host promotion-chasing Rotherham. The young centre-back, who was recalled for the 1-0 weekend defeat at Accrington, will complete a one-match ban after being sent off on the stroke of half-time for a professional foul on striker Terry Gornell. One solution to fill in the void would be to move Chris Robertson inside to his favoured position of centre-back and captain Lee Mansell back to right-back, a position he has occupied a number of times already this season, with on-loan midfielder Ryan Gilligan stepping up from the bench into central midfield. Other than Ellis, Buckle has a full squad to choose from with no other injury or suspension problems. The Gulls are currently just four points off the last League Two play-off position and will be hoping to end a run of three games without a win. Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore has a welcome selection dilemma. The Millers boss must decide whether to stick with Ryan Taylor and Adam Le Fondre in attack or switch to a 4-3-3 formation and include on-loan Watford striker Liam Henderson in the starting line-up. Taylor, who had been suffering with a groin problem in the build up to the game, partnered Le Fondre up front against Burton on Saturday and both players got their name on the scoresheet in the 4-2 win. However, Henderson, who was dropped for Taylor despite an impressive debut against Accrington, stepped off the bench before setting up Marcus Marshall's equaliser and Le Fondre's 89th-minute strike. Fellow striker Ian Thomas-Moore could miss out again with a hamstring injury, while captain Ryan Cresswell (broken collarbone) is still not ready to return.

All square at Plainmoor Striker Ryan Taylor pounced on a slip from marker Chris Robertson to secure a 1-1 draw for Rotherham at Torquay. Taylor's 73rd-minute leveller only came after strike partner Adam Le Fondre's earlier penalty had been spectacularly saved by home keeper Danny Potter. While in the 88th minute Taylor looked to have won it but could only watch as his shot hit the inside of a post and ran along the goalline before being cleared by central defender Guy Branston. Eunan O'Kane had put Torquay ahead in the 17th minute after Tom Newey had headed Chris Zebroski's goalbound shot off the line. Millers number one Andy Warrington made a spectacular diving save to push Billy Kee's thumping drive out of the top corner as the home side went in search of a second goal. That stirred Rotherham into counter-attack action and it took a brilliant save from Potter, reaching up to keep out Marcus Marshall's rising rocket from the left-hand side of the Gulls penalty area. But Potter topped that with a brilliant 59th-minute penalty save to deny Rotherham ace Le Fondre after Marshall was fouled on his way to goal as he broke into the box from the left wing.
