Match Preview
Comazzi misses crunch clash Swindon will be without Alberto Comazzi for Sunday`s derby at home to Oxford. The centre-back was withdrawn just 20 minutes into Tuesday`s 1-0 defeat at Dagenham nursing a hamstring injury and is set for a couple of weeks on the sidelines. Fellow defender Alessandro Cibocchi also continues to miss out with his ankle problem. Goalkeeper Mattia Lanzano (ribs) is fit again and will fight it out with Leigh Bedwell for a place on the bench, with Phil Smith retaining the number one jersey. Another man to have shone is Alan Connell, who came off the bench shortly after half-time against the Daggers and is now pushing for his first start of the season when Oxford come to town. Striker Mehdi Kerrouche also got his first taste of the action as a second-half substitute following his knee injury and is in contention. Spanish winger Lander Gabilondo is still awaiting international clearance ahead of the County Ground clash, with a bumper crowd of around 13,000 supporters expected for the 1pm kick-off. Oxford boss Chris Wilder is likely to name the same side as the one that beat Shrewsbury in midweek as the club clinched their first win of the season. That means Paul McLaren retaining his place in midfield after 34-year-old returned from injury to play his first 90 minutes of the campaign and suffered no adverse reaction. Northern Ireland international Tony Capaldi will again be missing because of a back injury. The defender joined the club in the summer and will have to wait another month to make his debut. Last season's joint-top scorer Tom Craddock is another absentee. The striker has a knee injury and remains three weeks from a return to fitness.

Match Report
Constable sees off Swindon Striker James Constable's double sunk Paolo di Canio's Swindon to a third league defeat in eight days after a 2-1 defeat to Oxford. Former West Ham star Di Canio was sent off against local rivals Oxford, who twice took the lead through Constable after Matt Ritchie had equalised for the Robins. Oxford took the lead in the 12th minute when Peter Leven put in a left-wing cross and Constable headed home from six-yards out. Swindon levelled the score eight minutes later when Callum Kennedy curled a ball in for Ritchie to nod past goalkeeper Ryan Clarke. But the away side took the lead again in the 43rd minute when Leven set up Constable who slotted into the bottom right-hand corner from close range. Fiery Robins boss Di Canio was sent off towards the end of the match by referee Mark Haywood for dissent. Swindon rallied for an equaliser and Ritchie had a glorious chance in the last minute which was brilliantly saved and Oxford held on for their first away win of the season which moved them just outside the League Two play-off places.
