Huddersfield Town extended their unbeaten run to four matches, but desperately need a striker in the January transfer window.

The Terriers completely dominated a poor Swindon side and should have swept them aside in emphatic fashion.

Huddersfield widemen Gary Roberts and Danny Cadamarteri were excellent but their crosses went to waste.

Twin strikers Keigan Parker and Phil Jevons have only one goal apiece this season and their lack of confidence and sharpness in front of goal was obvious.

Huddersfield boss Lee Clark has tabled three or four substantial bids for strikers but has yet to secure a signature.

Carlisle's Danny Graham and Motherwell's Chris Porter are both reported targets.

He clawed out from Roberts and then tipped around the post from Parker, before a Jevons shot was blocked on the line.

Huddersfield finally broke the deadlock in the 51st minute when Collins played a one-two with Parker and fired in off the foot of the post.

Roberts, who deserved a goal himself, had a dazzling run which ended with a curling effort well saved by Brezovan.

Huddersfield grabbed the win nine minutes after taking the lead when Swindon failed to clear a corner and Cadamarteri crossed for Butler to head home.

Swindon defender Kevin Amankwaah was sent off in the 65th minute for pulling back Jim Goodwin when he was last man.

Huddersfield should have destroyed Swindon but the visitors grabbed a stoppage-time consolation when Simon Cox ended a two-month goal drought with his 17th striker of the campaign.
