Cattermole back from suspension Sunderland skipper Lee Cattermole returns to the squad from suspension for their FA Cup quarter-final replay with Everton. The midfielder has missed the last four games after collecting a two-game ban for reaching 10 bookings for the season and then two more for his dismissal after the final whistle in the 1-1 derby draw with Newcastle. Right-back Phil Bardsley (illness and sore ribs) and midfielder Sebastian Larsson, who was rested for Saturday's 3-1 Barclays Premier League win over QPR, are also expected to be available, but central defender John O'Shea and left-back Kieran Richardson (both calf) are out, along with long-term defensive absentees Wes Brown (knee) and Titus Bramble (Achilles/calf). Boss Martin O'Neill knows the size of the game with Liverpool waiting in the semi-final at Wembley. O'Neill said: "It will be a big match, a big match for both clubs. "The incentive is great too - for Everton, the chance to play Liverpool in an all-Merseyside semi-final, and for ourselves, just to be there would be really terrific. "We have battled all this way and we don't want to give it up without a fight." Everton manager David Moyes has a few injury doubts. Darron Gibson returned from a five-match absence for the weekend's win at Swansea and is set to keep his place but fellow midfielder Steven Pienaar is cup-tied. Midfielder Royston Drenthe was missing for Saturday's match, as were Jack Rodwell (hamstring) and Seamus Coleman (thigh). Moyes believes the pressure is all on Sunderland ahead of their FA Cup quarter-final replay. The Black Cats produced a good performance to take the tie back to the Stadium of Light and Moyes saidO'Neill's side were now the favourites. "I think the pressure does go back on them. I felt it a little bit when we played at home," said the Scot. "We tried to do the job and win here but it was a good result for Sunderland to get us back to the Stadium of Light. "They will see a good part of the job has been done and they have probably got themselves in the favourites position because they have been very good at home under Martin, so we know it will be a tough game."
