Aitken out for Stranraer Stranraer will be without broken foot victim Chris Aitken when Peterhead come calling to Stair Park, with the Blues looking to make it three wins in a row. Manager Keith Knox is not planning many changes to his side following their 6-0 demolition of East Stirling last weekend. "We have tightened up at the back in recent games and have started taking our chances as well and that is a combination that we want to keep going. The goals are getting shared about which is pleasing to see," said Knox "Peterhead may well be bottom of the table but that is a false position as they have a really strong pool that will come good this season." Peterhead have full-back David Donald available after a rib injury for the long trip south as manager Jim McInally looks to secure his first league win since taking over the Blue Toon in October. Midfielder Paul Watson is missing due to suspension and Barry Sellars is out through illness. McInally said: "It has been a bit of a stop start spell for me at Peterhead but you just have to get on with these things. "Stranraer were very impressive when we played them in my first game in charge but we will go there looking to win. "One of the key things in this game will be keeping Craig Malcolm quiet as he is the most underrated player in the Third Division."

Stranraer are summit special Late goals from substitute Michael Moore and Stephen Stirling saw Stranraer come from behind in dramatic fashion to beat bottom-of-the-table Peterhead 2-1 and storm to the top of the Third Division. Stranraer headed into the game at Stair Park on the back of a thumping 6-0 league victory of East Stirling the previous weekend. But much to everyone's surprise it was the away side that took the lead in the 58th minute through Bryan Deasley's delightful 12-yard curler. As Peterhead looked to record their first league win since August, up popped Moore in the 80th minute to drill the ball home from the edge of the penalty area. And, deep into stoppage time, Stirling sent the home crowd wild when he blasted in from 20 yards for the winner. With Annan's match against Elgin postponed and Alloa only drawing with Berwick, the Stair Park men moved top on goal difference.
