Blues aim to end Clyde hoodoo
Stranraer manager Keith Knox has a full squad to pick from for the visit of Clyde.
The second-placed Blues are aiming for their first win of the season over the Bully Wee as they also look to close the eight-point gap between themselves and leaders Alloa.
Knox said: "Our two games so far this season have ended in draws so it would be fair to say that we have not put in a top-notch performance against them yet.
"It would be good to change that and keep the pressure on Alloa with a win, however I watched Clyde in midweek against Berwick and was impressed with their play in the final third.
"Our players have been well warned that we need to perform at a high level for the 90 minutes."
Clyde have centre-back Iain Gray suspended for their trip to Stair Park following his midweek dismissal against Berwick.
There was some good news for manager Jim Duffy, with Jason Marr and Declan Gallacher both completing a full training session on Thursday and they come into the Broadwood boss' thoughts for a starting place.
Midfielder John Sweeney is a doubt and Daniel Fitzpatrick remains out with an ankle knock.
Duffy said: "We have put a couple of decent performances in against Stranraer already this season and it would be good to do that again.
"The players put in a hard shift on a really heavy pitch with only 10 men on Tuesday so we will need to ensure energy levels are high for this one."
Stirling work for Stranraer
Stephen Stirling's second-half goal was the difference as Stranraer beat Clyde 1-0 at Stair Park.
Chances were at a premium in the first half but Craig Malcolm came closest for the home side just before the interval, his effort coming back off the bar.
The Blues took the lead 10 minutes after the restart when Stirling finished inside the area after his original effort was blocked.
Christopher Aitken's free-kick almost produced a second goal minutes later but David Crawford produced a fine save to keep it out.
The visiting keeper was called on shortly after, Martin Grehan was next to be denied by another good stop.
Clyde struggled to create any clear-cut chances as Stranraer held firm to extend their unbeaten run to four matches and close the gap on league leaders Alloa.
