Flood blow for Stirling Bottom side Stirling are without winger Joshua Flood for their home clash with Brechin. The youthful Andy Hunter is again ruled out through injury, while the more experienced Marc McCulloch is a doubt as Stirling look to end a run of three defeats in a row. Manager Greig McDonald said: "Brechin have had a more solid look about them recently and my old East Fife team-mate Paul McManus is scoring a few goals but we beat them earlier in the season and can take confidence from that." "To do anything we need to cut out the mistakes we have been making defensively which are killing us just now. "Not many people expect us to do anything in this one but if we defend properly we have a chance." Brechin are again missing the injured trio of Gerry McLaughlan, Charlie King and Derek Carcary. The Hedgemen are looking for revenge following their defeat at the hands of the bottom side earlier in the season. Manager Jim Weir said: "We have drawn our last couple of games so I am really keen that we start winning again to get back into a play-off place. "Stirling beat us 1-0 earlier this season and it would be good to get a small measure of revenge for that result by winning this game. "This is a massive period for the club as we play a lot of games and the sooner we turn draws into wins the better as far as climbing the table is concerned."

Match Report

McKenzie seals comeback win Rory McKenzie's late strike snatched Brechin all three points as they twice came from behind to beat Stirling 3-2. The hosts took the lead just after the half hour mark when Gary Thom's cross found Mark Ferry and he finished from close range. Ferry found himself on the opposite scoresheet minutes after the restart when he inadvertently put Bryan Hodge's corner past his own keeper. But Paul McLean spared his blushes after 75 minutes when he turned the ball into his own net after good work by Alan Cook. The visitors drew level seven minutes from time as Hodge's fine 30-yard drive left Callum Reidford helpless. The Hedgemen snatched victory four minutes later when McKenzie collected Hodge's pass inside the area and slammed home. Stirling are now without a win in seven outings but victory boosts Brechin's play-off ambitions after back-to-back draws.
