Holroyd ready for home bow Stevenage manager Graham Westley looks set to hand on-loan striker Chris Holroyd his home debut against Wycombe. Holroyd, who is at Borough on a three-month loan deal from Brighton, has netted four goals in his first two games for Westley's side, including a hat-trick in the 4-1 win at Hereford on Tuesday. With no new injury worries or suspensions Westley looks set to name the same starting XI for the third successive game. Joel Byrom could come back into contention for a place on the substitutes' bench if he recovers from a head injury which has caused him to miss the last two games. Borough are on a good run of form and are unbeaten in three games, winning their last two. Wycombe could have defender Dave Winfield back from illness for the trip to Stevenage. The former Aldershot centre-half missed the midweek over Barnet with flu but could be back for the short trip. Manager Gary Waddock said: "He wasn't feeling great this week and we didn't want to take a risk with him as he has been excellent for us since he's been here." Chris Westwood started in Winfield's place on Tuesday and is available to start again if required as the Chairboys look to move into the top five. Former Leeds midfielder Ian Westlake is available after he returned from an ankle injury and he could make the bench while striker Stuart Beavon made his first start of the season on Tuesday after returning from the broken leg that ended his season prematurely last year. Jon-Paul Pittman will be out for at least four months after undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in his knee, but Waddock has no fresh injury concerns.

Chairboys breeze to win Wycombe leap-frogged Stevenage after securing a deserved 2-0 victory at Broadhall Way. Stevenage began the game brightly and Scott Laird went close with an early shot with flew inches wide. The visitors clawed their way into the game, though, and Andy Sandell almost broke the deadlock when his shot was superbly saved by Chris Day. It was no surprise when Wycombe went in front 10 minutes before half-time. A corner was swung in from Gareth Ainsworth and well-travelled midfielder Kevin Betsy was on hand to nod home from close range. Seconds before the break Ainsworth's shot struck the post, before Stuart Beavon did grab the second goal, with a neat effort from just inside the Stevenage box. After the break the hosts showed some renewed impetus and Ronnie Henry and Yemi Odubade almost grabbed a goal back, but Wycombe hung on comfortably in the end and were worthy winners.
