Match Preview

No new worries for Westley Stevenage manager Graham Westley has no new injury concerns ahead of his side's clash with MK Dons. John Mousinho will continue to be Boro's playmaker after his brace against Barnet on Tuesday sealed the three points and Ben May is likely to keep his place up front. May made his first start for Stevenage in the win at Underhill. although he is lacking match fitness after a back operation which kept him on the sidelines for some time, he will continue to lead the line with on-loan striker Chris Holroyd. Defender Luke Foster is pushing for a start after returning to the bench following a one-match suspension while Westley will have to make do with four long-term absentees. Joel Byrom (fractured eye socket), Lee Boylan (calf), Chris Beardsley (shoulder) and Darren Murphy (ankle) are not expected to be available any time soon. MK Dons boss Karl Robinson could again be down the bare bones for the short trip. Robinson could only name four substitutes for the midweek win over Yeovil after a sickness bug decimated the squad but is hopeful of having some bodies back for the cup clash. Goalkeeper David Martin, Danny Woodards and Aaron Wilbraham all missed the game due to sickness while Sean O`Hanlon, Lewis Guy, Jermaine Easter and Dietmar Hamann played some part but were not 100% fit and healthy. Robinson will also be without defender Gary MacKenzie, who will serve the second of his three-match ban, but Angelo Balanta is back from suspension. Striker Jabo Ibehre jarred his knee in training last Friday and is not fit.

Match Report

Bore draw at Broadhall Stevenage and the MK Dons must try again after a disappointing goalless draw at Broadhall Way. Chances were at a premium as both sides lacked a cutting edge in a tepid FA Cup tie. A disappointing first half presented few clear-cut chances. Early on Stevenage's Stacy Long tried a shot from just inside the box, but David Martin saved well at his near post. The Dons responded with Peter Leven striking a shot just over the crossbar, but that came just a minute after Long had again been denied by a smart Martin save. Shortly before the interval Stevenage almost went in front when Ben May rose well, but planted a powerful header narrowly wide. The Dons opened the second half brightly and Angelo Balanta went close with a low drive. At the other end Yemi Odubade brought a decent save out of Martin. Late on Jemal Johnson fired inches wide for the Dons, but goalless it remained.
