Match Preview
Edwards fit to face Boro John Mousinho is a doubt for Stevenage when they welcome Accrington to the Lamex Stadium. The 24-year-old former Brentford and Wycombe midfielder limped off against Rotherham on January 25 and subsequently missed Boro's FA Cup clash with Reading and the league draw with Gillingham in midweek. Mousinho is recovering well but is rated doubtful for a first-team return against Stanley. However, Stevenage manager Graham Westley will be boosted by striker Craig Reid's inclusion in the squad. The recent signing from Newport County is eligible to feature and in contention to play some part in the game. In terms of injuries, Joel Byrom (foot/ankle) is in the running for a start after featuring on the bench in midweek but Darren Murphy (shoulder) is still a couple of weeks away from returning. Stanley manager John Coleman almost has a clean bill of health. Coleman has no fresh injury concerns heading into the Broadhall Way encounter, despite Phil Edwards carrying a knock through the midweek 1-1 draw with Morecambe. Edwards, though, is fit and available for the trip, unlike fellow defender Kevin Long. Long re-joined Stanley on loan until the end of the season on transfer deadline day but is currently out with a broken toe. Fellow deadline-day signings Ian Craney and Joe Jacobson are both in contention to play a part in the npower League Two encounter.

Match Report
Stanley fight back for draw Accrington hit back to snatch a point with two dramatic late goals in their 2-2 draw with Stevenage. It looked like Stevenage were on their way to victory when Lawrie Wilson made it 2-0 with 12 minutes left. But Stanley hit back with Terry Gornell crashing home in the 87th minute and then Andrew Procter burying a shot from 20 yards two minutes later. The hosts dominated the first half but only had the one goal to show for their efforts. That came in just the seventh minute when Wilson neatly played Byron Harrison in, and he drilled home from just inside the box. After that Stevenage ought to have gone further ahead as John Mousinho saw a well-struck shot saved by Ian Dunbavin. The Stanley keeper again came to the rescue when Ian Brady fired in a low, curling effort. Just before the break, Harrison came close to doubling his and Stevenage's tally when he nodded over the crossbar. In the second half Accrington rallied with Phil Edwards seeing a powerful shot blocked, while at the other end Wilson tried his luck from distance but the shot flew narrowly wide.
