Match Preview
Warriors look to capture Devlin Stenhousemuir hope to bring Michael Devlin back to the club on loan from Hamilton before the visit of play-off rivals Dumbarton. Discussions have taken place on a move this week for the talented teenage centre-back and the Ochilview side are hopeful they will reach a satisfactory conclusion. Devlin's arrival would provide timely cover for defender Martyn Corrigan, who has an Achilles problem, while winger Stevie Murray has also dislocated an elbow. Assistant manager Kevin McGoldrick said: "We managed to bring a disappointing run to an end by defeating East Fife a fortnight ago and are looking forward to building on that. "A win keeps us well placed in terms of a top-four place as well as opening a bit of distance between ourselves and Dumbarton." Dumbarton will be without combative midfielder Kevin Nicoll as they look for the win that will lift them level with their hosts in the race for a play-off place. The rest of the Dumbarton squad is available, while Tony Wallace will deputise for Nicoll, with Sons' boss Alan Adamson saying: "They are very similar in style and we kid them on that they must be brothers. "Stenhousemuir have been on their own in third place for most of the season so it would be a great achievement if we can get the win that will move us alongside them. "The last time we were there they had to score a couple of wonder goals to beat us so there is not much of a gap between the sides."

Match Report
Victory for the Sons Dumbarton moved level on points with Stenhousemuir after a 2-1 away win over their nine-man play-off rivals. The home side had a disastrous opening period to the game with defender Ross McMillan and left wing-back Kevin McKinlay both dismissed inside 33 minutes. McMillan received his second red card of the season for a professional foul on Bryan Prunty after 10 minutes, before McKinlay committed his second bookable offence just after the half-hour mark. The visitors made their numerical advantage count just three minutes later, defender Alan Lithgow heading home Mark Gilhaney's inswinging corner. A calamitous first half for the Warriors was compounded moments before half-time, Mike Devlin deflecting Prunty's effort into his own net. Substitute Gary Smith pulled a goal back 14 minutes from time, but the nine men were unable to complete the unlikely comeback.
