Napoli hoping good form continues
Napoli travel to Romania to meet Steaua Bucharest in their Group K showdown looking to pick up where they left off at Cesena.
Walter Mazzarri's side came from behind to claim their second Serie A win of the season in style with a 4-1 demolition of Cesena on Sunday.
"This is a high-level Napoli," said Mazzarri.
"I don't think we can play any better. I have complimented all my players and especially the new signings - they have surpassed expectations.
"This is a group victory and I would like to underline that this team always play good football whether they are at home or away."
Napoli are currently sixth in Serie A, two points behind leaders Inter Milan and Lazio.
Mazzarri's men will be looking to continue their good form in Serie A when they seek their first triumph in the Europa League group stages.
Napoli were held to a goalless draw by FC Utrecht earlier this month and lie second in the pool, two points behind leaders Liverpool.
Steaua, meanwhile, hope to turn their fortunes around under new coach Marius Lacatus.
Lacatus accepted an offer to return to the club for a third spell after Ilie Dumitrescu resigned last week following criticism from the club's supporters.
"I simply could not turn down the offer," said Lacatus.
"However, I don't want people to think that, since I am back, success is guaranteed."
Lacatus endured a difficult start in Sunday's 1-0 loss at Otelul Galati.
The outcome dropped Steaua to fifth in the Romanian top flight.
Lacatus knows his team will have to be at their very best if they are to surprise in-form Napoli.
"I watched Napoli's game at Cesena," he said.
"They played a fantastic game and showed great football.
"I fear not just one or two Napoli players, but the whole group. We will have to step up our game if we are going to surprise Napoli."
Steaua lost 4-1 at Liverpool in their group opener and lie at the foot of the pool.
The Romanians have yet to record a victory or even score a goal against Italian opposition after 11 failed attempts.
Cavani late show earns Napoli draw
Edinson Cavani struck in the eighth minute of injury-time to earn Napoli a point against 10-man Steaua Bucharest in a 3-3 thriller in Romania.
Trailing 3-0 after 16 minutes played, the Italians showed plenty of fighting spirit to launch a comeback in the Europa League Group K fixture.
Emilson Cribari's own goal had put the hosts in front after just two minutes played.
Cristian Tanase doubled Steaua's lead in the 11th minute before Pantelis Kapetanos made it 3-0 shortly after.
Katepanos turned from hero to villain within minutes as he was shown a red card shortly after the half-hour mark.
The Italians made use of their numerical superiority and reduced the arrears with Luigi Vitale scoring on the stroke of half-time.
Napoli substitute Marek Hamsik made it 3-2 with 17 minutes remaining before Cribari stunned the hosts with seconds to go.
Beaten 4-1 in their group opener by Liverpool, Steaua - under new coach Marius Lacatus - produced a much-improved performance at the Stadionul Ghencea.
The home side, looking for their first ever win against Italian opposition, could not believe their luck when Cribari deflected Iulian Apostol's strike into his own net, with Napoli goalkeeper Morgan de Sanctis unable to get a touch.
The Romanians pushed forward and got their second goal of the evening in the 11th minute when Tanase's curled free-kick beat De Sanctis.
Napoli had little time to react as Steaua struck again soon after. Kapetanos latched onto Eder Bonfim's cross and his six-yard strike went into the back of the net.
However, the Italians were given a helping hand when Kapetanos was dismissed after tangling with a Napoli defender.
Vitale handed Napoli a glimmer of hope when he struck from 12 yards to reduced the deficit on the stroke of half-time.
The Italians dominated possession in the second half and were rewarded in the 73rd minute by a fantastic goal from Hamsik.
The Slovakian international midfielder's 30-yard bullet strike beat Steaua goalkeeper Cristian Tatarusanu.
And deep inside stoppage time, Napoli's comeback was complete when Jose Ernesto Sosa's cross found Cavani inside the area - and his right-footed strike from the heart of the area found the back of the net.
