Match Preview
Schneiderlin may sneak in Southampton manager Nigel Adkins has no new injury problems ahead of the visit of Swindon. Morgan Schneiderlin returned from a calf injury as an unused substitute at Hartlepool in midweek and could come into the starting line-up if Adkins opts to shake things up following the lacklustre 0-0 draw. Fellow midfielder Adam Lallana came through his first start since early January unscathed following a knee injury and will keep his place. Recent signing Jonathan Forte missed out on a spot in the squad at Victoria Park but could be involved against the Robins. Veteran striker David Connolly (hernia) is fit but winger Lee Holmes (ankle) is out for the season. Teenage Arsenal loanee James Shea will continue on the bench as cover for Kelvin Davis after back-up keeper Bartosz Bialkowski was crocked in training. Elliot Benyon is set to miss Swindon's trip, but Thomas Dossevi should recover in time, while Mike Grella is available to make his debut. Benyon was withdrawn due to a hamstring strain just 22 minutes into last Saturday`s 1-0 defeat to Carlisle and then missed training on Thursday due to illness, meaning his involvement at St Mary`s unlikely. The striker was replaced by Dossevi, who duly went off at half-time nursing a side complaint, although he was put through his paces with his team-mates on Thursday and is expected to be okay. Meanwhile, fellow forward Grella could make his debut having signed on loan from Leeds for the rest of the season. Defender Lescinel Jean-Francois may well return to the frame against Saints with his partner now having given birth to their child. But striker Vincent Pericard (knee), winger Alan O'Brien (hamstring) and defender Milan Misun (knee) continue to miss out.

Match Report
Saints prosper to leave Robins flapping Two goals in a minute from Rickie Lambert and Radhi Jaidi helped clinch a 4-1 victory which sunk lowly Swindon deeper into relegation trouble and Saints closer to the automatic promotion spots. The home side almost took the lead after 10 minutes when Alex Chamberlain jinked in and out of defenders and riffled a shot which came off the inside of a post and away to safety. Moments later, though, they did break the deadlock when Guly played in winger Adam Lallana and he slotted home from inside the six-yard box. Saints nearly doubled their advantage when Guly again hit a post from a Dan Harding cross and no-one could tap in the rebound. Eight minutes into the second period and Matt Ritchie cut inside the box and fired past Kelvin Davis to put Swindon level. But Saints restored their lead on the hour mark when Harding put in a delicious ball for in-form Lambert to nod in. And just seconds later Lallana played a corner short to Chamberlain who clipped in a ball to the far post which Jaidi headed into the top corner to hand the home side breathing space. Substitute Lee Barnard then rounded Swindon's David Lucas in injury time to coolly slot in the fourth.
