Same again for Owls Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up against Exeter as his side chase a fifth successive home win. Megson has no new injury or suspension worries but will be without Mark Beevers again for the last match as the central defender nurses a fractured cheekbone. On-loan pair Rob Jones, from Scunthorpe, and Wolves' Danny Batth are likely to resume their partnership at the heart of Megson's back four. Striker Gary Madine shook off a calf injury in time to start last week at Bristol Rovers and should continue alongside leading goalscorer Neil Mellor. Winger Jermaine Johnson and midfielder pair Darren Potter and Chris Sedgwick are pushing for recalls after stepping off the substitutes' bench last week. The Owls have lost only one of their last seven games, winning four and drawing the other two. Exeter manager Paul Tisdale looks set to be without midfielder David Noble. Noble had to be stretchered off during the second half of the 1-0 home win over Plymouth last Saturday after falling awkwardly on his ankle and is a major doubt. Striker John O'Flynn is definitely sidelined as he continues to struggle with the toe injury that kept him out against Argyle. Veteran defender Rob Edwards is likely to feature in what will be his final game for the club as he is set to retire after the match. He is expected to start on the bench but should make his 180th appearance for City as a substitute. Midfielder Ryan Harley should start on his final outing for the Grecians. He signed for Swansea on a free in January but was loaned back to Exeter for the remainder of the campaign.

Match Report

City end campaign on a high Exeter came from behind to win 2-1 at Sheffield Wednesday and finish the season with seven wins from their last eight games. Jermaine Johnson gave the home side a first-half lead but goals after the break from from Daniel Nardiello and Troy Archibald-Henville gave City victory. Johnson struck in the 13th minute, beating a couple of players before firing into the top right-hand corner from the edge of the area. Neil Mellor then had an effort cleared off the line before Wednesday had a let-off when Jon Otsemobor nearly headed into his own net. Exeter went close to equalising early in the second-half when Nardiello's shot was deflected onto a post. Nardiello did find the net in the 76th minute with a low, angled shot from the right after receiving the ball from James Dunne. Archibald-Henville scored with a fine solo effort a minute from time, collecting the ball from Darren Potter's stray pass in his own half before striding purposefully into Wednesday's area and slotting past Nicky Weaver.
