Reda steady go? Sheffield Wednesday defender Reda Johnson is hoping to shake off his hamstring injury in time to face Bournemouth. Johnson has missed the last two games, but has returned to full training and will be assessed by manager Dave Jones closer to kick-off. Both Wednesday's full-backs in the last two matches, Lewis Buxton and Julian Bennett, have been in good form and Johnson may have to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench if passed fit. Jones recalled winger Mike Jones and striker Ryan Lowe to the side in his first game in charge in midweek and is unlikely to drop either player as the Owls beat Bury 4-1. Another winger, Michail Antonio, scored twice against Bury, his first goals for the club since arriving on loan from Reading, and can expect to make his fourth successive appearance as Jermaine Johnson (knee) remains a long-term absentee. Jones has no new injury or suspension worries as the Owls bid to overhaul second-placed Sheffield United. Bournemouth will be without influential midfielder Marc Pugh, who has an ankle ligament injury which could keep him out of action for another fortnight. The Cherries are still without Stephen Purches, whose double leg-break will keep him sidelined for the foreseeable future, while Charlie Sheringham is out for the season with a foot injury and Mark Molesley will also be absent because of an ankle problem. Captain Adam Barrett is progressing well in his recuperation from a hamstring injury and is unlikely to be risked for the trip to Hillsborough, and goalkeeper Shwan Jalal (back) requires another three weeks before he can be considered for selection.
